Yarne 2024 – Program Fees
February 21 to April 9, 2024
Applications open in September 2023 and you will be informed of the outcome of your application by December 15, 2023. A deposit of CDN$ 500.00 will be required to hold your spot. The full balance of the fees will be due on your arrival at Gampo Abbey on February 20, 2024. Priority is given to monastic applicants.

Additional costs:
- Personal health insurance for travellers from outside Canada.
- Ground transportation costs – Many participants travel to Halifax International Airport, or the VIA Rail train station in Halifax, and then take a shuttle to Baddeck. We are happy to provide a list of shuttles – the cost is approximately $110 each way on the shuttle.
- Pickup from the shuttle in Baddeck to go to Gampo Abbey (about 2.5 hours) must be arranged ahead of arrival day and departure day and the charge is $75.00 each way.

Refund Policy
Your spot in the retreat will not be confirmed until we receive your deposit of CDN$500.00. If you need to cancel your retreat we will refund your deposit for cancellations received 30 days prior to your arrival day, that is, before January 21, 2024. If you need to cancel within 30 days of arrival date, we will refund 75% of your deposit.
